A pitching event featuring 11 groundbreaking ideas from entrepreneurs was organized in Jordan on the 12th September 2023 under the banner of the "Urban Sustainable Development SOLutions Valuing Entrepreneurship - U-SOLVE" project. This initiative is supported by the ENI CBC Med program and implemented collaboratively by five countries: Cyprus, Greece, Palestine, Egypt, and Jordan.

The diverse range of ideas presented during the event spanned critical sectors including water, food, waste management, sustainable tourism, and renewable energy. Entrepreneurs from across Jordan cities participated, showcasing their innovative solutions to address pressing urban challenges.

The event, hosted in Jordan, saw the assessment of all 11 ideas by a professional committee comprising representatives from the public sector, private industry, academia, and non-governmental organizations. This multidisciplinary approach ensured a comprehensive evaluation, taking into account various perspectives and expertise.

Dr. Fahmi Abualrub, a key figure in sustainable development and a prominent member of the U-SOLVE project, highlighted the significance of the event in advancing the goals of the project.
