In March 2023, WEF-CAP and U-SOLVE joined forces to offer an exceptional 3-Day Pitching Bootcamp for beneficiaries. The bootcamp, hosted in Alexandria, was co organized by U-SOLVE's partner in Egypt, in collaboration with the WEF-CAP project.

Aspiring entrepreneurs had the chance to learn the fundamentals of technology pitching and develop the skills necessary to effectively pitch their ideas. Expert mentors and trainers provided guidance and instruction on how to craft an effective pitch, understand the different types of pitches, and practice the components of a successful pitch. This is in line with the U-SOLVE capacity building program for the step 1 subgrant applicants in Egypt

The bootcamp included over 18 participants and began with Day 0 which was conducted online to cover topics such as what to expect from the bootcamp, introducing the trainers and mentors, and networking. The remaining 3 days were conducted in person and focused on topics such as different types of pitches, components of a pitch, and pitch rehearsals.

The event was targeting the winners of the two calls of both projects for WEF-CAP to select 3 projects for a study tour in Europe, for U-SOLVE as part of the intensive training designed for the winners
