The Mediterranean region is a hub for creativity and innovation, with numerous universities, research centers, and start-ups operating in the area.

INTECMED in Greece closed the incubator program by awarding a total of 60.000€ in sub-grants and we were honored to count on the presence of the former Prime Minister of Greece, George Papandreou, and other prominent personalities.

We would like to warmly congratulate INTECMED's winners in Greece:

  • Co-Solidarity Platform (Co2gether), Maria Zafiropoulou marketplace for second-hand aid products from Switzerland and France and being redistributed in less-served populations in Western Greece. Fun fact: This company is the first *social enterprise* registered in the Achaia Chamber of Commerce.
  • Terraplus, Dimitris KARADIMAS: Platform to track agriculture products using blockchain.
  • Theodoros Michail, Doctor Bot: The first health bot in the Greek language that provides diagnostics using university studies and data.

One of the most significant added values of this Mediterranean Innovation Days was the attendance of investors from top leading organizations such as Endeavor and Georgia Institute of Technology, among others, to whom INTECMED's start-ups had the chance to pitch and receive feedback.
