The event included presentations of the project’s scope and objectives, the main activities and achieved results and outputs. The project manager, Mr Arseniou stressed the necessity of the adaptation of such initiatives by the local government and authorities, as the Blue Economy has been already adopted by the key international players in the tourism sector. Mr Kokkinos, Mrs Argyropoulou and Mrs Paraskevopoulou presented accordingly the activities where they were involved and the participatory engagement process of the project. Following the presentations, an open session took place in which participants had the opportunity to exchange their aspects on the conducted works and their assumptions.

Moreover, the necessity for the capitalization of the project’s results was highlighted as well as the probability of the continuation of similar projects, based on the experience gained from the implementation of the Co-Evolve4BG.

Fourteen participants from different operational divisions of the local government, including the General Director of the Regions Directorate of Programming & Development, attended the event. The event was broadcast via the ZOOM platform.
