ReSt@rts Second Policy Awareness Event Focuses on Enhancing Access to Credit for Young People in the Mediterranean

The esteemed partners of the ReSt@rts- "Reinforcing Med Microfinance Network System for Start-ups" cross-border cooperation project are set to convene in Rome on 7th September 2023 at Ara Pacis Museum. This event will witness the participation of project staff, stakeholders, and esteemed public policy experts, creating a valuable platform for networking and knowledge exchange within the Mediterranean region. 

The focal point of the Second Policy Awareness Event will revolve around a pressing challenge faced by the Mediterranean: the accessibility of credit for young people. Through concerted efforts, the project aims to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs by addressing this critical issue.

A noteworthy highlight of the event will be unveiling one of the project's outcomes: the ReSt@rts Committee. This milestone achievement fosters cross-border collaboration among microfinance institutions, thereby solidifying regional cooperation in the Mediterranean. Additionally, the project has devised an innovative MarketPlace Platform, which serves as a digital nexus for microfinance providers and young entrepreneurs. This platform not only facilitates networking opportunities but also grants access to peer-to-peer consultancy services. 

The event will attract renowned public policy experts from diverse countries such as Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Palestine, and Tunisia. Detailed information, including the agenda and further updates, will be communicated soon.
