Med4Waste was present at the ECOMONDO 2023 "The ecological transition ecosystem" fair during the opening day conferences.

The project was represented by Aleix Valls from BETA, Central University of Catalonia, lead beneficiary of Med4Waste, in the conference "Waste as Resources: Technological advancements in waste treatment and resources recovery" on Tuesday 7th November 2023. Ecomondo is the reference event in Europe on technological and industrial innovation in the circular economy. The fair oversees the entire circular economy chain, from the eco-design of products to the recovery and valorisation of waste, to transport, to the reclamation and redevelopment of contaminated areas, encouraging international networking and the growth of companies on markets all over the world.

This conference served as a great opportunity to give an overall recap of the Med4Waste project and all its main achievements in the field of waste management to an audience more focused on the technical development of waste technologies and to continue its efforts in synergizing with other important projects working on waste reduction and support the implementation of the UfM’s 2030 GreenerMed Agenda.
