MedArtSal supports Spanish artisanal salinas and promotes their valorisation on International Gastronomy Day
On 18th June, MedArtSal organised an event in the beautiful venue of Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park in Spain on the occasion of the International Gastronomy Day. The project partners, International Union for Conservation of Nature in the Mediterranean (IUCN-Med) and the University of Cádiz, presented the progress made by the project that reached halfway of its implementation and engaged the audience in a participatory debate on the future of artisanal salt pans.

Med Pearls: Call for Proposals for Slow Tourism Product Creation (Catalonia, Spain)
The Med Pearls project, funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC Med Programme, has the goal to set up a network of 26 Slow Tourism products across 6 Med countries (Egypt, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Palestine and Spain). These products (also called ‘PEARLS’) will share similar characteristics, follow the Slow Tourism spirit and offer equivalent and fully adapted experiences in the different countries.
