Looking to improve eco and road safety among truck drivers, the Chamber of Beirut and Mount-Lebanon has kicked off its first free training session at its TECHLOG Trucks Driving Simulators Lab. Five truck drivers participated in the program, which was led by experts from the logistics sector, American University of Beirut, Council of Road Safety and Traffic, and Vehicles Management Authority.

The RESET project is a cross-border collaboration that promotes a green and circular economy in the Mediterranean region. The project, in its second year, has achieved its goal of extracting the best practice on how to push forward the green economy model in the Mediterranean region by receiving knowledge from relevant stakeholders and service providers of green businesses.

With this article, we present the results of the collaboration between academia and industries in Lebanon. Saying goodbye to a project on which we have been working intensively for 3 years is not easy.
