The Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) is a programme for young people eager to gain new international experiences through volunteering and contribute to solidarity projects.

Promoting international cooperation is one of the main objectives of the projects developed within the Interreg programmes, and thus also within the ENI CBC Med programme, and having the opportunity to bring young people closer to these issues is a great way to have a lasting impact on European cooperation.

The EU-funded CROSSDEV project – Cultural Routes for Sustainable Social and Economic Development in Mediterranean – is coming to an end after years of hard work in four Med countries: Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine.
The numerous successful stories and huge impact of the project on the working areas certainly call for celebrations. But before that, let’s see some figures!

THE LIVINGAGRO INNOVATIONS CATALOGUE FOR LEBANESE AGROFORESTRY

During the Food Expo at the Metropolitan Expo Center in Athens on March 18-20, 2023, Greek stakeholders in the olive, olive oil, dairy, and meat sectors learned about the ENI CBC MED LIVINGAGRO project, Cross-Border Living Laboratories for Agroforestry, and shared their views on innovation and agroforestry.

The Lebanese Agriculture Research Institute, project partner in Tal Amara, Lebanon, is looking for an expert for the facilitation of living labs.

The selected candidates will carry out the following tasks :

• Define, Manage and organize the general strategy of the Living Labs by coordinating with the project stakeholders. 
• Develop operating tools for Living Labs
• Produce information material for at least 4 living labs meetings. 

The Centre de Recherches et des Technologies des Eaux (CERTE) Partner of the project: MEDWAYCAP C_B.4.1_0042 "The MEDiterranean pathWAY for innovation CAPitalisation towards an urban-rural integrated development of non-conventional water resources", launches a call for the selection of a video production agency for the mission: Realization of Storytelling.

BINA  (بناء), which means construction in Arabic, is a startup founded by the young female entrepreneur Rayanne Beoyno.

During the International Compost Awareness Week of Catalonia, we are glad to annouce that Fundació Formació i Treball, SIRCLES project's partner in Catalonia, is organizing an open day to the compost area of the Torre d'en Dolça park in Vila-seca on May 9th from 9.30 a.m. until 1.30 p.m.  

As set out in the project, different Local Living Labs have been organized among Mediterranean countries in the past months. For example, our main partner from Italy, Naples Agency for Energy and Environment (ANEA), decided to organize a three sessions workshop which took place between February and April 2023 in Naples (Italy). 

Back in February and March 2023, Anci Toscana organised two brainstorming meetings called #SOLEenergyTALKS in Florence, Italy.
