SOLE has finished the installation of solar panels on the rooftops of the buildings as part of its plan to renovate one of the six buildings at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, to serve as the country's flagship of efficient public buildings and a stepping stone towards energy rehabilitation in Egypt for public spaces.

The University of Jordan, in cooperation with IRIDRA, the technical partner of NAWAMED, organised a two-day technical training at the University of Jordan on 8-9 May 2023.

The training was attended by more than 30 participants with different skills and knowledge, including managers, researchers, engineers, architects from local public institutions, companies, NGOs and water utilities.

In the framework of Med4Waste project and in cooperation with PRIMA and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), the webinar : a better urban organic waste management for a more resilient Mediterranean agriculture,  has been organised on Tuesday 23rd of May 2023 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.(CET).
It was organised in the context of the International Compost Awareness Week. This was a back-to-back event to the 4th UfM Working Group on Environment and Climate Action.

The “meloja” is one of the flagship products selected by the Andalusian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FAMP) from the Andarax Valley (Almería), MedSNAIL pilot area in Andalusia. This product is being promoted within the framework of the project through its inclusion in the Slow Food’s Ark of Taste.

The two-year long project and its conclusions were presented during an unforgettable morning at the Visitors Reception Center of Cordoba. The famous Andalusian city hosted during the first week of May (3rd and 4th) the final event  REUSEMED project, an initiative promoted in four cities in Spain, Italy, Tunisia and Jordan and co-funded by by the ENI CBC Med programme. The aim of the proejct was to promote the culture of reuse.

On the 3^rd and 4^th May 2023, SADECO, lead beneficiary of REUSEMED, hosted the other partners from Italy, Jordan and Tunisia to share their results about the circuits implemented in 4 Mediterranean cities in order to promote the culture of reuse.

The final beneficiaries of the project speak to the public through this video. Citizens who use the new reuse circuits and infrastructures, the associations and companies involved in the circuits, the staff of partner organizations or the students of the courses given have the floor.
