MedBEESinessHubs celebrated World Bee Day in the bee-village of Ora in Cyprus on Sunday 21 May 2023, in collaboration with the Pancyprian Beekeepers Association.
The Bee Festival was inaugurated the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Mr. Petros Xenofontos and the Commissioner for the Environment Mrs. Maria Panayiotou, while it was attended by more than 700 visitors.

Get to know the experience and vision of RESTART MED! sustainable tourism SMEs in Catalonia
Some months ago, five tourism companies in Catalonia obtained a grant form RESTART MED! project to promote their sustainable activities. These companies were: Turismo Vivencial, Riu a l’Ebre, Envall Cooperativa, La Manreana and Gymkana Turística.
CEOMED closed its project in Tunisia showcasing results of the pilot on biowaste management
At the end of April 2023, the Centre of Biotechnology of Sfax, Tunisian partner of CEOMED, organised the final event of the project, showing the pilot implemented and the promising results of their research to enhance the potential of biowaste and turn it into a useful resource such as fertilizer or even the production of biomethane through anaerobic digestion.
