The Mediterranean region has long been celebrated for its rich culinary traditions and vibrant agro-food sector. It is a place where flavors, cultures, and traditions converge, creating a diverse and unique gastronomic landscape. In this dynamic context, MedSNAIL project worked by fostering the valorisation and development of small-scale traditional agro-food value chains, combining enhancement of market potentialities and socio-environmental sustainability.

Water Harvesting's (WaHa) technology revolutionizes water sourcing by utilizing Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) to extract water from the air, even in extremely dry conditions. MOFs are highly porous materials that can selectively adsorb and capture various chemical compounds.

The SUPROMED project, "Sustainable Production in water-limited environments of Mediterranean agro-ecosystem", is a research and innovation (R&I) project funded under the PRIMA 2018 program. The project aims to enhance the economic and environmental sustainability of Mediterranean farming systems by improving the management of water, energy, and fertilizers.

The team of University of Seville, along with a researcher from University of Naples Federico II, partners of Med-EcoSuRe, published a scientific paper focusing on defining the optimal renovation package for six residential building models covering 90% of southern Europe climates.

RESET is seeking an experienced circular economy expert to design and deliver online informative sessions in the 5 countries mentioned above, targeting the following stakeholders: Policy makers (public and local authorities, government, ministries, policymakers).

The expert will design, develop, and deliver a well-structured and informative session on circular economy, covering essential concepts, methodologies, best practices, lessons learned, and success stories in the context of sustainable and green businesses in the countries of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Tunisia.
