1. Background

In the heart of Bekaa Lebanon, a groundbreaking environmental project known as the NAWAMED - Constructed Wetlands has taken root. Developed in collaboration with the American University of Beirut (AUB), this project shows the innovative approach of using constructed wetlands for greywater treatment. With the installation complete, the Constructed Wetlands (CW) are now fully operational, efficiently treating greywater and demonstrating their capacity to provide a sustainable and eco-friendly solution for greywater treatment.

In the context of the CLUSTER4GREEN project, the Federation of Egyptian Industries has organized the second internaitonal conference on Social and Environmental Impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) & Local Investment and Circular Economy strategies to strengthen MSMEs competitiveness in Cairo (egypt) on 10th of October. 

The experts from Iridra, the NAWAMED technical partner, explain the functioning of the Green Wall installed at the Valle dell'Anapo school in the city of Ferla, a wastewater treatment system which prevents drinking water from being wasted.

Barcelona, 9 October 2023 - In the heart of Barcelona, in the Hotel Museo Petit Palace, a chapter of what has been one of the most emblematic projects of these times was closed: ARTOLIO ENI CBC MED. For three years, this project has been the pillar that has sustained the improvement in the production of extra virgin olive oil, in a global context that has presented countless challenges.
