The National Workshop was organized on  10,11, 24 and 25th November 2022. It aimed at public actors, civil society organizations and social entrepreneurs and innovators based in the Manouba and Mahdia regions in Tunisia. The following topics were addressed: social entrepreneurship, social and solidarity economy, social innovation and co-production.

On 8 February 2023, CLUSTER project partners gathered for the second time presentially in Amman, Jordan, and online, for a meeting to go over the achievements and progress made over the past period, as well as to agree on the steps forward to ensure the impactful implementation of one of the core missions of the project: CLUSTER´s training program targeting youth and women in the Mediterranean.

SIRCLES partners from Italy, Lebanon, Tunisia, Spain and Greece met in Tunisia in June 2022 to hold the first meeting of the Capitalization Board in the presence of the mayor of Bizerte and ENI CBC MED representative Ms. Samira Rafrafi. The discussions were around biowaste management and circular economy strategies with a focus on youth NEETs (Not in Employment,Education and Training) and women and providing them with the necessary skillsets and preparing them to be involved in the community.

Through its local partner, FITEI, they trained people who were looking for a job and are now employed to run the compost site. 

Highlights of the #biowaste management training in Lebanon, implemented by the Rene Moawad Foundation under SIRCLES project. As part of the project, the Rene Moawad Foundation is equipping a composting facility in Hbaline, north of Beirut, where the trainees had the chance to visit and put the knowledge they received into practice.
