HELIOS trains 52 young people and unemployed women in Italy, Spain and Greece
In the last months, HELIOS training activities have been in full swing in Italy, Spain and Greece.
About 52 young people and unemployed women have participated in the "Blue and Circular Economy, Entrepreneurship and Soft Skills" training course, developing the green skills needed to face the new labour market.
The courses organised by ARCES Association, Acción contra el Hambre and Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, HELIOS' European partners, besides transferring green and soft skills to the participants, involved them in other training activities such as visits to SMEs operating in the Blue and Circular Economy sectors.
These visits are designed to establish a dialogue between course participants and local entrepreneurs with the aim of understanding the specific needs of the Blue and Circular economy sectors and the skills required from the new labour market to the unemployed women and young people. All this in order to allow a successful matching that can be productive.
HELIOS courses are therefore based on a mixed approach between theory, technology and practice, in order to give all participants the right tools to face the new job challenges in the countries involved.
HELIOS training actions will continue in 2022 in the aforementioned countries and also in Tunisia, Palestine and Jordan.
