Revolutionizing Transportation: TECHLOG Project Utilizes Advanced Driving Simulators to Promote Innovation. National Italian Tv News TGRai3 highlights the University of Cagliari's CIREM group's coordination of the TECHLOG project, aimed at improving the transfer and standardization of cutting-edge solutions for training transport operators. The TECHLOG Western Living Lab, located in Sfax, Tunisia, was recently launched to actively support the transfer of technology in transportation.

Through the activation of the Western and Eastern Living Labs, TECHLOG aims to stimulate innovation by transferring research from laboratories to real contexts where users are invited to cooperate with researchers and developers to contribute to the innovative process as a whole.

The TECHLOG project has an ambitious goal: to strengthen research-industry links in the (trans)port sector by establishing a permanent cross-border EU-Med space where research organizations and (trans)port industries co-create, test and share new Technology Transfer Initiatives based on advanced simulation technologies.  

In this interview, Gianfranco Fancello tells us about TECHLOG, the project of which he is scientific manager, which involves Italy, Egypt, Spain, Lebanon and Tunisia to carry out coordinated advanced training actions in the port and road haulage sector.
