Representatives of the 13 approved strategic & standard projects funded under the thematic objective 2 of the ENI CBC MED Programme participated in a two-day cluster event on 23 & 24 of March organised by the Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS).

Thematic objective 2 aims at supporting education, research, technological development, and innovation. The actions that will be implemented under thematic objective 2, will promote the economy and social development.

The main aim of the online event was to develop synergies between the approved strategic & standard projects.

More specifically, the online event was attended by project managers and communication managers of the following 13 funded strategic & standard projects of the thematic objective 2:

The project "MEDiterranean QUadruple helix Approach to Digitalization" (acronym MED-QUAD) was represented by the project manager and the communication manager coming from “Epimorfotiki Kilkis sm LLC” (project beneficiary, Greece). The project aims to apply the theory of the "Quadruple Helix" in the field of innovation and especially digitization for the planning of local sustainable development. The project aims to strengthen the cooperation between the four key actors of quadruple helix, namely the universities/research centers, the state, the businesses and the society (local government).

The online event aimed at the rapid utilisation of the results, the development of synergies, the formulation of ideas, the transfer of knowledge and the identification of solutions to thematic issues. Participants had the opportunity to present their project, discuss individual matters and exchange ideas to develop synergies. The well-organised event ended with warm thanks to the Joint Technical Secretariat.
