On 02/10/2023, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Agricultural Extension and Training Agency between the representative of the National Scientific Research Agency (ANPR), Tunisian partner of PPI4MED project, and members of the Agricultural Extension and Training Agency.

 The aim of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities for cooperation in relation to the public innovation market in order to develop and market the results of scientific research.

The meeting was attended by several representatives of the Agence de vulgarisation et de formation agricoles, as well as experts in public procurement of innovation and technology transfer. In addition, the researcher Ms Ameni Zriba took the opportunity to present her innovation, which mainly consists of improving the drying process for various food products such as vegetables and pistachios…

The key advantage of this innovation is its ability to effectively stabilize the heat temperature, enabling food products to be dried quickly.

The meeting proved a very fruitful way of highlighting the PPI4MED project, which aims to stimulate the commercialization of the results of scientific research and innovation in Tunisia.

 It also highlighted the role of the public sector in promoting the public market for innovation and scientific research in the country, by encouraging the commercialization of results from public research structures.
