The National Centre for Research and Development in Jordan (NCRD) had also conducted a baseline survey under PPI4MED project and shared the survey with more than 150 project stakeholders: The results were analysed to generate a National Capabilities roadmap, including SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat) analysis for innovation & entrepreneurship, public procurement innovation, private sector engagement and Research & Development in Jordan.
As a result, a report was published to highlight the challenges in R&D, the innovation and entrepreneurship eco-system, funding support availability, public procurement plans, patents and potential for commercialization, and current collaboration between  the government, the private sector, and universities/research centers/researchers.
