The Centre for Innovation and Culture - InnoPolis continues to hold the local lab sessions with the MSMES who are organic producers in the framework of ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM project. During the meetings, the producers showed great interest in the presentations of the innovation partners, asked questions, received answers and guidance with the scope to develop a new concept or prototype, to improve their existing products and to develop targeted communication strategies.

The sessions took place both online and in person, and the participants expressed warm interest to meet MSMEs from the South Med countries, mainly Lebanon and Jordan, during the international labs, with the goal to exchange ideas for the improvement and the promotion of their products.

The local laboratories aimed to cover different topics by specialized experts and proceed individually with each operator, in order to find solutions and develop a final demonstration. Local laboratories are physical and open spaces where actors of the innovative organic value chain (MSMEs, innovators, researchers) can interact in a cross-contamination process in order to generate joint solutions favoring “user-driven innovations” and market requirements. Feedback of local laboratories gives the ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM clear indications on local business communities’ needs useful to the cross-border strategy framing.
