The MED-QUAD project, with the Lead Beneficiary of Epimorfotiki Kilkis sm LLC (Greece), brings together education and business sector executives from 6 Mediterranean countries, who work together to strengthen cooperation between the main actors of the quadruple helix approach : universities, businesses, local government and society.

In addition to Epimorfotiki Kilkis sm LLC, which coordinates the project, the following universities participate in it:

·         International Hellenic University, Greece 

·         University of L'Aquila, Italy 

·         Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Egypt

·         Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan

·         Palestine Polytechnic University, Palestine

·         University of Sousse, Tunisia 

The executives from Greece, Italy, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Tunisia, depending on their educational backgrounds, have assumed the respective role for the project. The members of the MED-QUAD working group offer knowledge and skills to achieve the project's actions as best as possible and, above all: to create results for the benefit of improving the quality of life of citizens in the Mediterranean. Furthermore, they strengthen the role of universities as Socially Aware Universities and operate not only within the city but for the city.
