ESMES Spanish partner, Consorci de la Ribeira, in collaboration with the Institute for University Cooperation (ICU), organized the 3rd Cross-border thematic workshop on the 26th of July 2023, online, the last workshop to be organized within ESMES project. 

This activity is part of the ESMES framework of "institutional capacity building for sustainable energy policy making & rehabilitations management". 

The workshop was an internal and hybrid meeting between all project partners from the targeted countries; where they had the opportunity and the chance to share the results on the approved procedures for smart and sustainable energy management in public school buildings, the approved strategies to support efficient and cost-effective energy mix in public schools buildings, the case studies on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (REEE) project portfolio solutions for enhanced energy rehabilitation and the tools for implementing REEE project portfolio solutions and Sustainable Energy Measures (SEM) in schools’ buildings. 

Part of the workshop was dedicated to a discussion on energy rehabilitation works in each country, partners have exchanged on the works that have been implemented in all the schools; showcasing the advancement in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in each of the involved countries. 

The workshop has been a great occasion for partners to share results and achievements and receive know-how from each others.
