This animated video explains the importance of Mediterranean wetlands, the threats they are facing in the Mediterranean and the holistic solutions needed to protect and restore them.

To raise awareness on the importance of wetlands, ENSERES has adapted the message to an Arabic audience to pass on the 10 important messages that can be found summarized in this video by @Yorgos Konstantinou / imagistan (Instagram @y0rgos).

You can watch the original videos developed by the Interreg Mediterranean Biodiversity Protection Community (MBPC) in English and in French.

ENSERES started collaborating with the MBPC project in 2022, particularly through the organization of a joint session in November in Brussels at the EU Committee of the Regions and the expansion of the MBPC tools catalogue for biodiversity protection in the Mediterranean.
