ARTOLIO to celebrate excellence in olive oil production and sustainability at final meeting

Barcelona, 9th to 11th of October 2023 – ARTOLIO ENI CBC MED, is thrilled to announce its upcoming partner meeting in Barcelona. This event promises to be an exciting occasion where partners, experts, and producers gather to discuss project progress, explore cultural experiences, and recognize excellence within the ARTOLIO community. It is the last event held before the project finishes, and it will do so in style, with a gala dinner and first ARTOLIO Awards.

In the words of ARTOLIO partner, Yifat Reuveni, “ARTOLIO not only focuses on process improvement, sustainability and energy efficiency, but also helps establish a new level of superior quality for extra virgin olive oil.” The local economy within the Mediterranean Basin is their main concern, and the entirety of the project was designed to apply measures aimed at improving the situation of the local producer of each participating countries.
As of now, the new ARTOLIO platform already aims to promote each producer and provide them with tools to help place their product on the market and give them visibility in other spaces of international scope. It will also provide consulting services for those involved so that they can work autonomously even after the project ends. Its functions and repercussion, along with the possibility of a second ARTOLIO project will be discussed in the upcoming meeting, among its partners.

This last reunion in Barcelona not only reviews the progress of the project and its relevancy, but also will determine whether there will be a continuation or not. “We are excited to host this event in Barcelona, a city rich in art and culture. The partner meeting is a testament to our commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration within the ARTOLIO community,” says Jesús F. Gordillo, marketing manager of ARTOLIO. 

The gala dinner will be a highlight of the event, providing attendees with an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of outstanding sub-grantees who have made significant contributions to the ARTOLIO project. The awards will be presented via video call, ensuring that excellence is recognized and celebrated, even from afar.
