This week, the Valenciaport Foundation, Spanish partner of YEP MED project, has completed a training in the “Implications and consequences of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).” The course was given to 19 teachers of international trade vocational training coming from the institutes of Ausiàs March, Conselleria, Grao, Lluís Sunyer, Mislata and Pere Boïl. All of these institutes serve the young community in Valencia.

Given in the framework of the YEP MED project, the course aims to introduce the teachers to the figure of the AEO and the customs procedures to follow in an international trade operation. This course is another initiative of the Valenciaport Foundation to adapt vocational training programs to the needs of companies in the port logistics sector to facilitate the employability of young people in companies linked to the ports.

The course took place between the 5th and 6th of October 2022.
