The training attracted 70 Lebanese young men and women who showed interest and engagement in shaping their blue skills in port logistics arena and hoped to prepare themselves to ensure a better employability and get better job opportunities in this sector.

Organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, the YEP MED programme introduced the participants to the Lebanese maritime sector and the port of Beirut, its customs services, supply chain management, international regulations, freight forwarding, shipping lines and multimodal chain characteristics. Over the four days, participants explored each elaborated module and analysed many related practical cases with specialist trainers (you can consult the agenda here: https://lnkd.in/ekb8smQ9)

The next YEP MED training courses in Beirut will take place from 21st February till 7th March 2022. Participants who would attend the full training programme will be awarded the YEP MED certificate of completion signed by the Beirut Chamber.
