TRANSDAIRY launches the ICT and Bio Nanotech Living Labs in Italy

Commercializing research results of the dairy value chain whilst duly protecting intellectual property rights are the main objectives of TRANSDAIRY project. Therefore, Italian partners, Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” (UCLV) and Istituto di Scienze dell’Alimentazione - Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (ISA-CNR) will launch their ICT and Bio-nano technologies living labs, during the Open Day that will be organized on 31 March 2022.

The event will be held in presence at the historical venue of the Engineering Department of UCLV starting with a presentation of ICT living lab delivered by prof. Luigi Zeni, coordinator of TRANSDAIRY.

Subsequentely, Dr. Alejandra Olay, project manager of TRANSDAIRY, will launch a cross-border call:  “Specialized training for intermediaries in the DVC”. The programme aims to provide useful tools to successfully address the technological transfer process.

Thereafter, also representatives from diverse associations of the dairy value chain will explain the synergies created with the living labs.

After the general presentation of living labs, the key note speaker, Dr. Claudio Pasqualucci, Lebanon’s director of the Italian Trade Agency, will give a talk about innovation & startups.

Aligned to the theme “innovation”, technological demonstrations will be showcased by researchers from ISA-CNR, Dr. Maria Staiano and Dr. Antonio Varriale. Lastly, the open day will conclude with two focus group sessions in parallel.
