TECHLOG in Egypt is launching a tender for technology transfer initiatives simulation training programme

The TECHLOG project is inviting service providers to apply for an exciting opportunity to support technology transfer initiatives and the implementation of pilot actions in the Mediterranean area.

The selected service provider will play a crucial role in supporting the final stage of the project's technology transfer initiatives and implementing pilot actions in Egypt, focusing on comprehensive simulation training programs for safety in ports and trucking companies. The pilot actions will specifically target truck, forklift, reach stacker drivers, and quay craners.

The goals of the pilot actions are as follows:

  1. Test training programs for driving operators by replicating various operating conditions encountered in real life.
  2. Monitor and verify the improvement of trainees' skills in driving and cargo handling using simulator training.
  3. Propose theoretical and practical practices for performance enhancement.
  4. Calibrate performance curves for a ship-to-shore gantry crane operator in a container transshipment terminal.

The deadline for expressing interest is August 10th, 2023.

Official Offers must be submitted in sealed envelopes by registered mail, private courier service or by hand- delivery to the Academy Site before 12 pm on August 24th, 2023.
