MedTOWN National Workshops impulse change in the co-production of social policies
Four out of the six planned national workshops of the MedTOWN project ambitious training programme have been succesfully completed.
The National Workshops (NW) are one of the key actions of the MedTOWN Project and are being carried out, or will be in the coming months, in all the countries participating in it: Jordan, Greece, Portugal and Spain have already undertaken them, while Palestine and Tunisia are scheduled for later on this year.

The open call for hotels in Israel to receive a free sustainability consultation, as well as the open call for Israeli professionals to provide these consultations, have been extended until August 10th, 2021.
The hotel industry in the Mediterranean at large, and Israel specifically, is one of the most important worldwide and continues to register significant growth. After a challenging year during the COVID-19 crisis, the Israeli tourism industry is now looking forward to renew its domestic and international success in the coming months and years.

ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM and HELIOS explore common ground to tackle unemployment in organic food sector
On April 19th, the ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM and HELIOS projects met virtually in order to explore possible cooperation actions and synergies between both of them. Eng. Alaa Wahbe from the National Agricultural Research Center of Jordan (NARC), partner of HELIOS based in Jordan, attended the meeting representing the project.
