The INVESTMED project launched a call for business proposals from startups and MSMEs in November 2021. This edition of the newsletter announces the winners from each country, Egypt, Tunisia, and Lebanon. There were 38 business proposals selected in total. The Association Tunisienne pour le Développement de la Pêche Artisanale is launching a call for consultation for the selection of an audiovisual service provider to ensure photo and video coverage of events carried out within the framework of the implementation of the FISH MED NET project in Tunisia.
The YEP MED partners met in Italy and affirmed that the project has laid solid foundations for continuous youth training in the Mediterranean
On the 1st and 2nd December 2022, the YEP MED project (Youth Employment in the Ports of the MEDiterranean) brought together members of the Steering Committee at the headquarters of the Port System Authority of the Tyrrhenian Sea Northern Center. (AdSP). Some partners were unable to attend in peson, and connected to the event online.

FISHMEDNET highlights Mediterranean fragrances of Marceddì in Sardinia, Italy
Fabio Cadelano is one of the few 'young' full-time fishers found in Sardinia who operates his boat from the coastlines of Marceddì. Along with his father, he and other fishers run the Arennera pescatourism where they have managed to make the fishers' lifestyle an attractive portal for visiting tourists. In complete respect of the nature they operate by alternating these two activities in order to upkeep a steady livelihood and manage to enthrall their clients by taking them on coastal tours in the vicinity of Marceddì, on the west coast of Sardinia.
REUSEMED in Italy presents the reuse plan developed for Capannori
The Italian partners of the REUSEMED project have presented the reuse plan developed for the municipality of Capannori after the work of codesign they have carried out over the last few months. The result is a specific plan that outlines the entire journey that citizens and companies in the region can take to reuse objects of all kinds, as well as activities to raise awareness and disseminate the tools available to users of reuse.
