The CARISMED Project aims to implement circular economy strategies in Mediterranean cities by eliminating waste and pollution, refurbishing and re-using urban stock, and resetting the existing environment. It integrates innovation into urban settings and is financed by the European Union.

PPI4MED in Spain shows United Arab Emirates the development of Public Procurement of Innovation

On 8th May 2024, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) received the Advanced Technology Research Council  (ATRC) delegation from the United Arab Emirates. The meeting was attended by representatives of the ATRC, such as the Director General, Executive Director PMO, Senior Director PMO, Government Affairs Project Manager and several advisors, and from the CSIC's side the Vice-president for International Affairs, the Vice-President for Innovation and Technology Transfer, and international and transfer technicians.

Explore the library of deliverables, your gateway to the results of ENI CBC MED Programme

More than 280 deliverables are now fully available in the public library to showcase results from ENI CBC MED funded projects, the previous edition of Interreg NEXT MED programme. The process is still ongoing to make sure that each one of the 80 funded projects can share the most relevant achievements that cover the 11 priorities of the Programme divided into 4 Thematic Objectives, i.e.

The CARISMED training activities in the National Technical University of Athens: emerging new technologies and circular practices

Training activities were successfully completed by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) on behalf of CARISMED project CApitalisation for Re-setting Innovation and Sustainability in MED-Cities Experts from the sectors of architecture, spatial development, circular economy and recycling were present to spread the important axis of circularity through different aspects. CARISMED entirely renovates a building in Irbid (Jordan) by upcycling and recycling products

SMEs from Jordan who have been trained through the project are explaining with enthusiasm their experience in the rehabilitated Studio Lab in Al-Zahara Park and their role in furnishing the place through producing attractive products out of recycled materials. Moreover, they explained the supply chain they used to get the raw materials and market the products enjoy watching the video !
