As the end of the project approaches, let's get to know the products born in the framework of BESTMEDGRAPE.
With this article, we present the results of the collaboration between academia and industries in Lebanon. Our partner Saint Joseph University of Beirut activated partnership with several enterprises, involving them in the production of new food products enriched with polyphenols obtained from grape pomace.

In the framework of BERLIN project a Webinar on the smart Online Tool was organised, under the leadership of the University of Western Macedonia. CEOMED in Italy is looking for a position to assess the project from a technical-economic point of view
The techno-economic evaluation of processes is a key activity under research projects. In the case of CEOMED, our colleagues from Italy (University of Naples Federico II) will assess the two-stage system implemented during the activities with a conventional single-stage anaerobic digestion reactor treating fruit and vegetable waste and converting them into biomethane. For this activity, they are looking for a postgraduate candidate with Environmental engineering skills.

CEOMED in Italy opens a position for a postgraduate scholarship
In the next five months, CEOMED will generate a significant amount of knowledge as the project is coming to an end. The University of Naples Federico II, Italian partner of CEOMED, is looking for support in the straight line mainly to operate two bench-scale bioreactors aimed at the bioconversion of artificially prepared fruit and vegetable waste into volatile fatty acids and then biomethane.
