Vita Vie, a Tunisian startup, has participated in the EU-funded ENI CBC MED

Co-Evolve4BG had the honour to take part in the event "Towards a more sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean" organized by the three Interreg programs: Interreg Italy-France Maritime, Interreg NEXTMed and Interreg Euro-MED in Florence on 4^th May 2023.

On the 27th of April 2023, the Region and Eastern Makedonia and Thrace (REMTH), Greek partner of Co-Evolve4BG, organised a participatory training/workshop in Alexandroupoli. Around 10 attendees with different backgrounds and expertise participated in this event. The main objective of the event was to draft an action plan to promote sustainable tourism and blue growth in Alexandroupoli and Samothraki (pilot areas of the project) and to present the transferability plan and discuss about how to transfer the results of the project.

Within the framework of the Co-Evolve4BG project, which includes partners from Tunisia, Lebanon, Italy, Spain and Greece, with the aim of developing coastal human activities, natural systems, sustainable tourism and blue development in the Mediterranean; "AMWAJ" NGO, in cooperation with Tyre Municipality and Tyre Beach Reserve, organized a training workshop in April 2023 to present and discuss studies, priorities and proposals for a strategic plan to develop sustainable marine tourism that respects the environment. 

Umm Qais, situated in Jordan, is a must-visit destination for those seeking a unique sustainable travel experience. As one of the five destinations in CROSSDEV's Hidden Mediterranean platform, Umm Qais – known as Gadara in the past - offers visitors a glimpse into the rich history and culture of the area. The city is home to several well-preserved ancient ruins, including a theater, a basilica, and a mausoleum, each offering a fascinating insight into the region's past.

The 3rd Intelligent Utilization of Photovoltaic Technology (IUPVMED) Hub meeting took place in a hybrid mode in Eilat, Israel on the 4th of May 2023. The meeting was a continuation of the previous two meetings, aiming to investigate the integration of photovoltaics (PV), energy storage systems (ESS), and demand side management (DSM), under the concept of a hybrid nanogrid system.

The 2^nd transnational project meeting of BERLIN took place in Eilat, Israel, between the 3^rd and 4^th of May. During the first day of the meeting, partners visited Yeleem School in Eilat and Nof Edom School in Eilot, where the pilot activities of BERLIN are under development.

University of Florence, partner of Med-EcoSuRe, participated today in 48h challenge event organized by Sole project, funded within the ENI CBC MED programme.

The Agenzia Napoletana Energia e Ambiente (ANEA), partner of Med-EcoSuRe project, is looking for 2 junior experts to support the elaboration of the Renovation Strategy with reference to university buildings.

FISH MED NET representative from Legacoop Agroalimentare, Italian partner of the project, participates at the conference Blue Skills & Jobs: Guiding future professions within the fishery supply chain to be held in Spazio Europa on the 11th May 2023 in Roma, Italy. The main aim of this conference is to discuss and highlight the importance of investing and supporting the Blue economy.
