MEDWAYCAP, the project that amazed the guests of the Water Expo 2022

The Water Expo 2022 exhibition, co-organized by the Centre of Water Research and Technology, was held at the headquarters of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts (UTICA) for two days on March 16 and 17, 2022 under the auspices of the Ministry in charge of Agriculture and Water Resources.
Water Expo 2022 was an opportunity to exhibit innovative projects, technologies carried out in the water sector as well as to share best practices, in particular taking into account climate changes and their impacts on national and international water resources.

MEDWAYCAP: Benchmarking, Best Practice and Innovation Solutions of Non Conventional Water

The National MEDWAYCAP Kick-off meeting in Tunisia has been organized by the Centre of Water Research and Technology. It was the occasion to inform about the project objectives and activities in Tunisia with the different associated partners. Italy: NAWAMED to debate on the potential barriers for the use of Non Conventional Water Resources

Next Tuesday May 24th, public local authorities and key stakeholders of the Province of Latina will participate to the 1st NAWAMED Water Table, debating on the potential barriers for the use of Non Conventional Water Resources (NCWR).

During the online event Fabio Zaccarelli, Project Mamager of the NAWAMED project will present the project to the group, sharing with them the first results the project is already registering in its implementation concerning the innovative measures to treat and reuse rainwater and wastewater at urban level.

BEEP models a historic Italian palace using Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodology

In this video we show you the "Palazzo Mafei Borghese" modelled with BIM technology. This ancient palace, located in Italy, is one of the 9 pilot buildings of the BEEP project in which an innovative methodology is proposed to plan an energy efficient renovation, without undermining the heritage value of these buildings.

The use of BIM technology is becoming more and more common in new buildings, but it is still rarely used in old buildings, especially when they are historic or have a high heritage value.
