From the 15th to the 17th of March 2023, INDESCAT, Spanish partner of Skills4Sports, will organise the Strategic Alliance Meeting in Barcelona, ​​which will be attended by all partners of the EU-funded Skills4Sports project from Greece, Palestine, Lebanon, Italy and Malta.

Aqaba is a Jordanian coastal city situated on the Red Sea, located in the southern part of Jordan. The city is surrounded by vast mountains, white sandy beaches, and year-round warm weather, making it one of Jordan's major tourist attractions. As part of SIRCLES project, Aqaba is currently operating a composting site. EDAMA, the Jordanian partner of SIRCLES, selected Aqaba due to high food waste generation from the hospitality industry.

Seven people trained and contracted for 10 months, 6,160 total hours of activity, 23 information centers, about 2,000 citizens interviewed and sensitized on the issue of waste separate collection, over 50,000 people reached on social media.

The pilot project in Italy was completed on Tuesday 7 March at the ANCI Puglia (The Association of Municipalities of Apulian Region) headquarters in Bari.

The curtain came down on the third field training workshop organised by the Hammamet Environmental Education Association (AERE) for the design of a cultural and tourist circuit in the Medina of Hammamet on Tuesday 7 March 2023.

Boukra is a young, women-led NGO operating in the field of Heritage & Sustainability. We created and run “Beit Jeddé”, a sustainable tourism project in the village of Mtein (located in the Matn district of Lebanon). Beit Jeddé is a multifaceted project that includes a guesthouse, a community center, a local producers support initiative as well as heritage awareness activities, aimed both at locals and visitors.

After three years, the MoreThanAJob project is coming to an end. With that, the Business Consultancy and Training Services (the Lebanese partner) in cooperation with the lead beneficiary of the project, An-Najah National University, organized the project’s final conference in Lebanon, sponsored by the Ministry of Social Affairs patronages in cooperation with the General Labor Union in Lebanon.
