SIRCLES offers training course on bio waste management in Lebanon

René Moawad Foundation, SIRCLES project’s partner in Lebanon is organizing a training on Bio-waste management for NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and women starting February 2022, under SIRCLES - Supporting Circular Economy Opportunities for Employment and Social Inclusion project.

The training will include:

  • Environmental education for bio-waste source separation
  • Waste collection
  • Composting site management
  • Organic farming
  • Cognitive, social and relational competences
  • Entrepreneurial competences

To be eligible to apply you must be a NEET or a woman aged between 18 and 24 years old or between 25 and 55, living in Byblos district (Jbeil) and subjected to social marginalization and to gender-based discrimination. Check for more information.

The participants will benefit from cash for work, and will receive a certificate of participation.
