SIRCLES offers training course on bio waste management in Greece

Organization Earth and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), SIRCLES project partners in Greece are launching a hard skills training on bio-waste management in Korthi, Andros for NEETs (Young people Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and women starting on June 2022, under SIRCLES - Supporting Circular Economy Opportunities for Employment and Social Inclusion project. 

The training will include the following topics among others:

  • Environmental education for bio-waste source separation
  • Waste collection
  • Composting site management
  • Organic farming
  • Cognitive, social and relational competences
  • Entrepreneurial competences

To be eligible to apply, the applicant must be a NEET or a woman aged between 18 and 24 years old or between 25 and 55, living in Andros and subjected to social marginalization and/or to gender-based discrimination.

Completion of the training will lead to hiring 20 people.
