The National Agency for the Promotion of Scientific Research (ANPR), Tunisian  partner of PPI4MED, participated in the TRANSDAIRY event which took place at the Ramada Hotel for two days on 14 and 15 December 2022. It was organized by l´Ecole Supérieure de Medjez el Bab (ESIM) and the Office d'Elevage et de Pâturage (OEP). Several innovators had the opportunity to meet more than 300 participants from the decision-makers: entrepreneurs, funders, professionals, journalists & researchers to present their creative ideas during a two-hour pitch session.

Mrs. Sonia Zgarni, local coordinator of the PPI4MED project, took the opportunity to present the PPI4MED project and its perspectives, as an important vector for the transfer of results from public research centres to the socio-economic environment. It was an opportunity to boost the mechanisms of Technology Transfer in Tunisia and to reinforce the synergy between the innovation projects of the ENI CBC MED Programme.

TRANSDAIRY project aims to support technology transfer among researchers, industries, and SMEs of KEy Enabling Technologies (KETs) applied to the dairy value chain. This technological transfer will be achieved through the creation of living labs, institutional capacity building and better market knowledge, via the establishment of cross-border spin-offs in Italy, Greece, Lebanon, and Tunisia.
