PPI4MED in Tunisia join forces to promote public procurement of innovation

The National Agency for Scientific Research Promotion of (ANPR) and the General Direction for the valorization of Scientific Research (DGVR) have signed a cooperative agreement in order to concentrate their efforts to develop the public procurement of innovation, on the 12th of January 2023.

Mr Chedly Abdelly, the General Director of ANPR, Ms Sonia ZGARNI, the Tunisian coordinator of PPI4MED, and Ms Rim Saïed the General Director of DGVR have signed a cooperative agreement to establish an efficient collaboration between the already cited institutions. Many common goals are shared between ANPR and DGVR such as creating collaboration between researchers and the private sector. In this context, several efforts will be taken to widen the participation in the Public Procurement Innovation (PPI) Living Lab, with a spcial focus on companies from the private sector in the fields of energy, food and water.

This collaboration will help to establish two national Public Procurement Innovation (PPI) Pilots and will contribute to the preparation of white papers related to the Public Procurement of Innovation, based on the Tunisian context.
