PPI4MED in Tunisia defends the role of scientific research in addressing societal challenges at the "Francophonie 2022 Summit"

The National Agency for Scientific Research Promotion (ANPR) Tunisia, a partner of the PPI4MED project, has participated in the symposium “Societal challenges and francophone scientific research issues in the digital area”. This discussion was organized on the sidelines of the “Francophonie Summit 2022” on the 20th of November 2022 in Djerba-Tunisia.

In the framework of this convention, Mr. Chedly Abdelly, the head of the ANPR, has presented the PPI4MED project.      In particular, he  explained the Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) as an instrument to transfer results from public research centres to the socio-economic environments.

This meeting, with the participation of PPI4MED, served to understand the transversality of science and innovation in knowledge and society from all points of view.
