PPI4MED in Italia, through the Centro Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), will participate in the 2022 edition of Jazz'INN, a meeting on innovation in a relaxed atmosphere where, in addition to knowledge, good food and good music are exchanged.

The aim is to step out of the comfort zone into other, less conventional and constrained environments and to experience a new form of networking and community building between scientists and researchers and public and private representatives.

Jazz'INN is promoted by the Fondazione Ampioraggio and will be held from 27 September to 1 October 2022, days full of exchange of experiences, brainstorming, cooking, cultural visits and, above all, jazz in the town of Roseto Capo Spulico, in Cosenza, Calabria region in Italy.

The CNR will participate in the round tables “slow dating for innovation” that are an integration of ideas and competencies for open innovation, involving representatives of industries, scientists, public institutions, and young entrepreneurs.

The main topics are:

  • “Smart Government”: Methods and instruments for a sustainable Public Administration
  • OpenIndustry: SMEs meets the IDEAS
  • Innvocations: Technologies and social innovation

The initiative consists of 4 steps:

  1. Selection of the case givers
  2. Facilitation of work and networking
  3. Analysis of results
  4. Identification of projects to be realised.

This approach is useful to stimulate debate on innovation while favouring networking and partnership.

The CNR is looking forward to the event as this type of initiative could be seen as a think tank to stimulate ideas and transform them into sustainable investments involving innovators and investors.
