ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM trained +50 SMEs working in organic agriculture in the Mediterranean
The Innovative value chain training program has been launched by the ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM project partners in Jordan, Lebanon, Greece, Tunisia and Italy, in collaboration with the Associated partners, for more than 50 MSMEs working in the Organic sector in the Mediterranean region.
The program aims to increase SMEs competitiveness and facilitate market access at national and cross border levels and give new businesses or already establish ones, the support to improve the way they produce, process, market or export organic products. At a supra level, this project aims at strengthening innovative Mediterranan enterprises and organisation working in this sector so they can scale their business ideas and inspire others to do the same.
The training's contents were tailored to respond to the needs of participants and the country to better adapt to their specific needs. This course was taught by experts across the region, specialized in different business and technical fields but always from the organic perspective.
This set of training will be followed by a selection of 25 MSMEs at the cross-border level, which will benefit from a Business Planning Development program. This second face of the program will help the selected SMEs to integrate what they learned in the last training and develop a complete business plan that will help them to access funding and have a more clear road map to grow.
