ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM in Italy is looking for players to develop innovative solutions in the agricultural sector

CIHEAM Bari, Italian partner of the ORGANIC ECOSYSTEM project, in collaboration with the innovation hub Almacube, is organising the Organic Ecosystem Innovation Program, an innovation programme that fosters collaboration between local small and medium-sized enterprises and national and international innovation players.

CIHEAM Bari is looking for innovation players (start-ups, spin-offs, innovative companies but also project ideas promoted by individuals, groups of researchers and networks of professionals) interested in participating in the Innovation Program, developing solutions that respond to the Innovation Challenges proposed by the companies of the CIHEAM Bari community.

The selected innovation players will have the opportunity to:

  • Get in touch with local entrepreneurial realities,
  • Receive training and mentoring for product development,
  • Develop innovative Solution Concepts responding to the Innovation Challenges, and
  • Potentially activate collaboration contracts aimed at the realisation of Proof of Concept at the end of the course.

WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE?

  • Validate your solution by applying technology to new agricultural sectors.
  • It develops specific solutions in collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises that are part of the CIHEAM Bari network.
  • Acquire new customers and establish yourself as an innovative technology provider in a new business ecosystem
  • Apply design thinking methodology to your product development with the help of Almacube's expert coaches
  • Contribute to agrifood innovation, making a real impact on the land and crops

*Candidates admitted to the acceleration and co-design programme (maximum 5) will receive a sum of EUR 2,000.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

The programme is open to start-ups, spin-offs, companies and legal entities, however established, with registered offices in Italy or abroad, as well as natural persons over 18 years of age, who participate individually or as 'project teams' also representing groups, whether formal or informal, belonging to universities, research centres, associations, NGOs, institutes, etc.
