Skills4Sports Strategic Alliance in Palestine for combatting youth unemployment
On 29 March 2022, Palestine Sports for Life held an infoday in Ramallah, Palestine bringing together 32 representatives from governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, universities and the private sector for the purpose of discussing the challenge of increasing the employment opportunities for NEETs (persons Not in Employment, Education or Training) in the sport sector and the ways in which Skills4Sports addresses this issue. The stakeholders who attended the event signed a memorandum, committing themselves to the goals and principles of the project.
REUSEMED in Spain will promote bartering among children at an event with schools
The Spanish partner of the REUSEMED project, SADECO, will hold a large-scale event on June 3 to disseminate the benefits of bartering and raise awareness of its importance among the local population. The initiative will involve around 800 pupils from four schools in the city of Cordoba, who will donate their used toys and books and will afterwards be able to purchase objects donated by other schoolchildren at a street market.
