Dissemination webinar "LOCAL RESOURCES TO ADDRESS THE GLOBAL CHALLENGES OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL OLIVE GROWING"

Objectives:

The growing requests by the olive value chain operators to improve the olive oil quality based on the territory of origin, have led to the need to more thoroughly study the local genetic resources and the cultivation strategies, to increase the capacity of the olive to face the ongoing climate change scenarios and reduce the impacts, with a view to enhance local productions and use the olive multifunctionality. The workshop represents a showcase of some of the approaches under use and the most interesting outputs obtained at international level.
