The National Research and Development Center (NCRD), partner of the PPI4MED project, participated recently in the open day organized by the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) in cooperation with the European Union Delegation in Jordan to present the innovation projects supported within the cross-border cooperation program in the Mediterranean region (ENI CBC Med) funded by the European Union, which aims to empower youth and women and support creative ideas and capacity-building to address the youth unemployment.

Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Mousa, head of the National Center for Research and Development, signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with Mr. Abdel-Fattah Al-Kayed, Executive Director of the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO).

Also, Engineer Maha Aqra, coordinator of the project "Technology Transfer and Commercialization of Public Research Results through Public Procurement of Innovation in the Mediterranean Region" (PPI4MED), gave an introductory presentation on the project, which is supported by the European Union under the ENI CBC Med programme.
