Invitation to join GREENinMED Water and Energy Management in the Tourist Industry workshop in Barcelona, Spain, on February 23rd
The Spanish Chamber of Commerce will be holding a workshop on Efficient Technologies for Water and Energy Management in the Tourist Industry on Wednesday, February 23rd, at 9:30 CET at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce (Av. Diagonal 452, 08006 Barcelona), as part of GREENinMED activities aiming to increase sustainability in the Mediterranean tourism sector.
As the COVID-19 pandemic wave put a strain on the tourism sector, tourist accommodations may now seize the opportunity to reduce their energy costs and their water consumption by means of innovative solutions, without compromising the quality of their guests’ stay.
Experts from France and Israel will discuss the most innovative technologies available in the market in terms of water and energy management. From laundry facilities, swimming pools to garden irrigation and air conditioning systems, GREENinMED has identified significant number of water and energy efficient technologies for the Mediterranean hotel industry.
Additionally, the Energy Efficient Cluster of Catalonia (CEEC) will moderate a roundtable with innovative companies about the main Challenges and Success stories in Catalonia.
