As part of the synergy between projects and to connect the different stakeholders from ENI CBC MED programme, Dr Omar Arabeyyat, project manager of INTERNISA in Jordan, was invited to present the project in the presence of 60 producers, farmers, and community leaders during the national final event of MedSNAIL project which was held in the Balqa region on 29th of August 2023.

MEdSNAIL aimed to promote the sustainable development of the Mediterranean agrofood sector by applying a "slow food" approach and short-chain principales.

The event included a brief presentation of INTERNISA project presenting the offline spot and the portable offline spot training center used during the project, and inviting women from the agrifood sector to visit the centre. Dr Omar Arabeyyat also introduced the platform internisa.eu to sign up and take the benefits of the materials uploaded besides giving a brief about the challenges identified during the project, and key matters related to women in the rural area, such as production protocols and experimental projects. The workshop also involved discussions on the challenges facing the agricultural food sector in the Balqa region in the north of Jordan, proposing suitable solutions. It provided a valuable opportunity for local producers to meet with local leaders and decision-makers, facilitating the convergence of perspectives between the two parties.
