INTERNISA in Jordan organized a workshop for policy makers about reducing gender gap in the labour market

Al-Balqa Applied University (ABAU), Jordanian partner of INTERNISA project, has organized and implemented a 2-days workshop entitled "Expanding the Participation of Policy Makers in the INTERNISA Project".  It was held at Tilal Jalaa’d Restaurant and Park, in Al-Balqa Governorate, on the 2nd and 3rd of August 2023.

During this two-day workshop, which was addressed to the representatives of the public sector, policymakers, and some local community leaders,  the objectives and results of  INTERNISA, its web portal (https://www.internisa.eu/) and its mobile application for women (My INTERNISA),  as well as its offline spot and Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) were presented.

The representatives of the public sector, policymakers, and local community leaders had an open discussion about the gender gaps in society and the workplace, the importance of networking and collaboration to address gender gaps and best practices and challenges in addressing gender differences in the workplace, and the importance of networking and collaboration in removing gender gaps. Also, some of the participants signed the INTERNISA MoC to strengthen the project’s results and sustainability. 

The MoC outlines the framework of INTERNISA project partners and stakeholders in order to engage them in the most efficient, and effective way in the implementation of the INTERNISA project, during both procedures for successful implementation of the project and after its completion.
