INTERNISA in Jordan expands its training activities and services to women associations in rural areas
Al-Balqa Applied University, INTERNISA Jordanian partner, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with local community associations (Association of Jordanian National Women's Committees - Al Balqa Governorate, Umm Al Amad Women's Associations, and Basmet Al Khair Charity Association), with the aim of supporting and spreading the knowledge about INTERNISA project activities, smart app, and the platform. The Memorandums were signed on 2nd of August 2023.
According to the memorandum, the two parties agreed to hold training courses (these courses are part of the continuous work of the offline spots) for women at INTERNISA offline spots located in Salt, Aqaba, Amman and Irbid, on topics related to digital, raising awareness about the INTERNISA project activities., and building an efficient procedure for communication in the future. Also, other training will be organized based on the needs of these NGOs using the portable training unit.
The project manager, Dr. Omar Arabiat, indicated that the signing of the memorandums comes with the implementation of the project plan to extend the scope of beneficiaries who could benefit and use the established offline spots. From the women's associations side, they stressed the importance of such memorandums in building partnerships to support women, especially in remote areas.
It is worth mentioning that signing such memorandums helps in building synergies to support women in all areas, especially in the project target work.
